Changes in Fee Schedule

 

 Tuition and fee charges are subject to change at the school’s discretion.

 If there are any tuition or fee increases, the changes will become effective the next semester.

 The student will be notified prior to any tuition changes.

 

The amounts you commit to pay by signing this Agreement may be less than those listed below. The below calculations do not include deductions to which you may be entitled for scholarships or other awards. Please consult your scholarship award, if you have one; it will be applied to reduce the amount you would otherwise be committed to pay.

STUDENT’S RIGHT TO CANCEL

The student has the right to cancel their enrollment agreement and obtain 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, less a reasonable deposit or application fee not exceeding three hundred fifty dollars ($350) if notice of cancellation is made before at the first class session, or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later.

 

Cancellation Procedure

 To cancel a course(s), students are required to submit a written cancelation statement with the intent to cancel their courses via email, and mail signed officially by student.

 The course is removed from the student’s transcript with no record of ever being registered for the course.

A notice of cancellation shall be in writing and a withdrawal may be effectuated by the student’s written notice or by the student’s conduct, including, but not necessarily limited to, a student’s lack of attendance. There are No refund policy for students who attended the first week of the class session.

Withdraw Procedure

 To withdraw any course(s) enrolled in any session, students must e-mail, and mail signed and dated copy of the Notice of Withdrawal form, which includes a written statement requesting cancellation to the University.

 A student who submits official notice to withdraw from a course(s) after the first week shall receive a grade of a “W” on their transcript.

Refund Policy

AGU University will not refund a tuition fees to students who cancel their enrollment, for the term in which the student is enrolled.

 

Notice of Additional Fees for Late Payment of Tuition

Students are required to submit full payment of tuition and fees owed for their first semester by the registration deadline (4 weeks prior to the start) to avoid additional charges.

Tuition and fees for each semester after the first one must be paid in full 15 days prior to the 1st start date of classes. Students who maintain a balance after this deadline in subsequent semesters are assessed a one-time $35.00 fee unless they have received approval from the Billing Department to pay using one of American Global University’s payment plan options.

 Methods of Payments

Payments may be made by cash, money order, wire transfer, cashier’s check, or certified check.

Additional Payment Methods

American Global University offers four payment plans to assist students with their financial needs. As a student at American Global University, you are free to choose from any one of these options:

Two Installments Deferred Payment Plan: This American Global University Deferred Payment Plan is available where deferrable charges, such as tuition and certain fees, are paid in two installments. The total fees for the semester are divided into two equal payments. The 1st payment is due prior to the 1st start date of the first semester, and the 2nd installment is due prior to the 1st start date of the second semester. There is a $50 fee for the two-installment deferment plan.

This agreement contains the complete understanding between American Global University and you regarding the University providing educational services in exchange for your payment of fees and tuition.

Prior to signing this enrollment agreement, you must be aware with your rights prior to signing this agreement.

I understand that my failure to comply with all University policies, including attendance, academic and financial requirements, will result in termination of my enrollment AND dismissal from the University.

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to American Global University to comply with the policies.

I understand that the information and policies are necessarily subject to change. I understand that all such changes are to be communicated through official notices, and I further understand that revised information may supersede, modify, or eliminate existing policies.

I understand that I will receive a degree, only if I have met all the required academic standards and requirements and have paid my financial obligations to American Global University in full.

I understand that a degree or diploma cannot be conferred until all academic obligations have been completed or otherwise cleared with the Registrar and all financial obligations have been completed or otherwise cleared with the Director of Finance.

I have read and understood this agreement and the refund policy of American Global University before signing.

I understand that American Global University does not guarantee employment of any kind once my degree or certificate has been conferred.

I understand the enrollment agreement is legally binding when signed by the student and accepted by the institution. I understand that this is a legally binding contract. My signature below certifies that I have read, understood, and agreed to my rights and responsibilities and that the institution’s cancellation and refund policies have been clearly explained to me.
