The objectives for pursuing a Doctor in Da’wa and Islamic Culture at AGU aims to deepen understanding and contribute to this important field. Key objectives include studying methodologies of Islamic outreach, analyzing cultural values and practices within the Islamic world, examining the interaction between religion and civilization, conducting comparative studies of Islamic Da’wa “Islamic Call” with outreach methods in other religions, exploring applications of Da’wa in the modern age, and producing original research to advance theories and practices in Islamic Da’wa and cultural studies, thereby enhancing academic and practical contributions to the field.
Admissions Requirements
The following are the minimum requirements for admission to the Doctor of Da’wa and Islamic Culture program: AGU University accepts applications from applicants having a Master’s degree and a 2.5 GPA from universities accredited either nationally or regionally. Only undergraduate degrees recognized by certified certifying Universities that were achieved outside of the US will be accepted as master’s degrees, provided they have been reviewed by one of these accredited.
Graduation Requirements
sixty (60) required credit hours must be completed by students with a program GPA of 3.0 or above. Additionally, students can finish all 60 credit hours at AGU University. To graduate, students must apply. Students who complete their coursework and graduate are awarded a Doctor of Aqidah.
