AGU University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program and various Academic degrees prepare undergraduate students for the next stage of their careers. Also, Bachelor of Business Administration students at AGU University are exposed to a wide range of disciplines, such as accounting, marketing, operations, sales, and finance.
Our Professors collaborate with BBA students and other Academic degrees to help them improve their written and spoken communication abilities. In addition, students are encouraged to present their unique ideas by leading group discussions and presentations to present their ideas to employers, Critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving are core skills for AGU University’s various business degrees and Bachelor of Business Administration.
In response to the rapidly evolving financial landscape and the increasing integration of technology in financial services, we have added the specialization of Fintech and Risk Management to our Business Administration curriculum. This decision is driven by the need to equip our students with the skills and knowledge required to navigate and innovate in the fintech sector. As financial technologies continue to disrupt traditional banking and financial services, understanding the associated risks and managing them effectively becomes crucial. Our goal is to prepare our graduates to become leaders who can leverage fintech advancements while ensuring robust risk management practices, ultimately contributing to a more secure and efficient financial ecosystem.
BBA Program Description
Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program are prepared to look for work in entry-level roles in a variety of fields, including payroll, accounting, budgeting, human resources, computer systems, risk management, and facilities planning and management.
Class participation, answering discussion questions, producing research papers, presentations, case study analyses, quizzes, midterm, and final exams, and presentations are among the performance outcomes that must be met to complete the program (Comprehensive Learning Assessments).
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements to be accepted into an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree:
A university-recognized high school diploma or university-recognized high school equivalency must be obtained, along with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA!
OR
a high school diploma and an associate’s degree or above previously obtained from a college or university with national, regional, or institutional accreditation;
OR
a high school degree and twenty-four (24) college credits from an institution of higher learning that has received national, regional, or government accreditation and has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0;
OR
approval from the Admissions Committee after it has reviewed the elements it considers necessary for academic success, such as prior academic progress, additional achievements, and any more data it deems necessary to the requirements established by the University’s board of directors.
Graduation Requirements
One of the requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration program is 120 credit hours. Additionally, students must earn a program grade point average of 2.0 or above while completing the 120 required credit hours.
To graduate, a student must apply and fulfill all financial and academic requirements. Students who complete all graduation requirements will be awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
