Master of Da’wa

Program Description

The Master’s program in Islamic Da’wa “Islamic Call” at AGU aims to enhance students’ understanding of Islamic concepts and principles, equipping them with the skills to effectively communicate and spread Islam using modern techniques and technology. It prepares students to analyze contemporary issues from an Islamic perspective, offering solutions based on Islamic values. The program promotes scientific research in Da’wa, encourages dialogue and mutual understanding between cultures, and trains students for teaching and leadership roles in Islamic communities. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of contributing to academic studies through teaching, conference participation, and research publication. By organizing events and participating in charitable activities, the program also aims to enhance the role of Da’wa in serving both local and global communities.

Admissions Requirements

To be admitted to the Master of Da’wa program, candidates need to meet the following requirements:

To be admitted to AGU University, a candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, either nationally or regionally. Only undergraduate degrees recognized by accredited credentialing services that were earned outside of the US will be accepted.

Graduation Requirements

Forty-five (45) required credit hours must be completed by students with a program GPA of 3.0 or above. Additionally, students can finish all 45 credit hours at AGU University.

To graduate, students must apply. Students who complete their coursework and graduate are awarded a Master of Da’wa degree.
