Social Responsibility

As humanitarian combatants, we recognize that volunteer work provides our communities, alumni, staff, and students with a chance to participate in activities that improve good of society. We improve the communities in which we live and gain important skills and knowledge via our community activities.

The university’s Social Responsibility Committee is made up of a varied range of people who work with representatives and organizations from the surrounding community. The purpose of SRC is to promote cooperation and maintain regular connections between the university and the surrounding community. AGU is giving back by providing scholarships to selected non-profit partners and disadvantaged communities in those partnerships. The president and senior leadership attend the SRC’s minimum of four quarterly meetings each year.
